During the workshop we will:

• - Understand the gradation of anthropomorphic characters
• - Come up with a concept for your character
• - Play with form and proportions trying to exaggerate and simplify some elements
• - Learn tools to make your drawing attractive
• - Draw sketches of your characters in different poses, facial expressions and accessorie

Your mentor for this journey:
Svetlana Grossu - artist, animation director and teacher.

Svetlana is originally from Moldova but formed her artistic career in Moscow where she worked as a director of music videos, commercials and animation films such as: “Fables for Hares”, “Dunno and Barrabass”, “People”, “Christmas Lullaby!”, “Optimus Mundus”, “Three Suns”, M&M's and Pepsi.

 

In her career path she worked as an Art Director and Chief Artist in such magazines as "Big City", "New Eyewitness", "Crocodile" Magazine. Conducted author's courses of lectures with E. Dobrova "Dramaturgy of a fairy tale"; "Dramaturgy for writers" at the "Bookworker" school and the literary workshop "Media School".
