Nicolae Botgros

Nicolae Botgros is a renowned Moldovan conductor and violinist, serving as artistic director of the National Orchestra of Folk Music “Lăutarii” from Chișinău. His musical style focuses on Moldovan and Romanian folk traditions, performed internationally across Europe, the USA, Australia, and Asia. He has earned numerous honors, including the titles of “Artist al Poporului” (“People’s Artist”), “Artist Emerit” (“Merited Artist”), the Order of the Republic, and Romania’s “Order of Cultural Merit.”
