Taraful Haitei
About
Taraful Haitei is a traditional folk music ensemble (taraf) from the Republic of Moldova, formed in close connection with the celebrated project Lupii lui Calancea led by Alex Calancea. The ensemble revives archaic Romanian lăutari tunes and traditional folklore, fusing them with modern tribal rhythms and dynamic stage energy. They perform at major music festivals and leading concert halls across Moldova and Romania.
