We invite you to a unique cultural experience dedicated to the rich heritage of traditional symbols and their meaning within Romanian and Moldovan folk culture.
Guided by renowned ethnologist Varvara Buzilă, participants will explore the stories and meanings behind traditional motifs and create their own embroidered design inspired by these timeless symbols.
The workshop is designed both for those discovering traditional embroidery for the first time and for anyone seeking a deeper connection with local heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural identity.
The experience includes:
- an introduction to traditional symbolism;
- basic embroidery techniques;
- all necessary materials provided;
- creation of your own embroidered traditional motif;
- a welcome glass of sparkling wine courtesy of Cricova Winery;
- light refreshments courtesy of BERD'S.
