Domeniile Pană is a family-owned winery that has captured the attention of wine lovers thanks to its distinctive philosophy, built upon 20 years of professional experience by its founder, Nicolae Minciună. Born in Slobozia Mare (Cahul district), Nicolae was introduced to winemaking from an early age, as it is a long-standing tradition in his home region. After completing his studies in wine technology, he gained years of experience working as a winemaker in Moldova, Romania, and New Zealand. By combining the knowledge inherited from his ancestors, professors, and renowned wineries, he decided to return home to establish a sustainable and long-lasting wine business in Moldova.

One of the key aspects that sets Domeniiile Pană apart is its “low intervention” winemaking style. Nicolae explains to visitors that he simply guides the natural processes without drastically altering the wine’s structure. This approach allows him to highlight the unique terroir, which is enriched by the microclimate and nearby lake, without using artificial additives or taste modifications.
