Rosé – between tradition and modernity
Rosé is considered one of the oldest wine styles in the world. Its origins date back to Antiquity, when wines were lighter in color and more delicate, resembling what we now call rosé. In Ancient Greece and Rome, this type of wine was highly appreciated for its freshness and light character.
Over time, rosé became a symbol of Mediterranean elegance, especially in Provence, France, associated with summer tables, friendship, and relaxed atmosphere. Today, it is reinterpreted by winemakers around the world, and in Moldova it finds a unique expression, carrying the imprint of local terroir and indigenous grape varieties.
