On June 14,15,16, for the fourth year in a row, the Cultural-Nature Reserve “Orheiul Vechi” will host the only open-air classical music festival in Eastern Europe, DescOPERĂ.

The guests of the festival will have the opportunity to discover the beauty of classical music in a rural setting, a natural amphitheater that provides ideal acoustics for the symphonic orchestra and the voices of opera soloists. They will also be able to visit and explore the sites, the monastery, the museum and authentic households preserving the ambiance of past centuries.

 

14 June, 19:00 – grand opening of the festival at the Butuceni summer theatre.

The residents of Chisinau will be provided with transportation to the DescOPERA festival.

Everyone wishing to spend three unforgettable evenings in an open-air setting, listening to classical music at DescOpera festival, will be provided with transportation from and to Chisinau. According to event organizers’, the buses will depart from the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet “Maria Biesu”.  Transport fare (one way) – 35 MDL.
