This workshop will go through the full process of developing a simple acoustic demo recorded on your phone (guitar+vocal) into a professionally recorded, produced and arranged song.

  1. We'll start with exploring the tools and mindset you need to apply to record and develop your ideas by opening an already finished project.
  2. Then we'll take a song we have in a form of a phone recording and re-record it in a professional studio, discussing all the details and techniques in the process.
  3. Then we'll bring the recording back into the classroom and edit it to get that “perfect take”.
  4. As the last and most complicated step, we'll build up our basic acoustic recording and develop it into a fully produced song.
