This workshop will go through the full process of developing a simple acoustic demo recorded on your phone (guitar+vocal) into a professionally recorded, produced and arranged song.
- We'll start with exploring the tools and mindset you need to apply to record and develop your ideas by opening an already finished project.
- Then we'll take a song we have in a form of a phone recording and re-record it in a professional studio, discussing all the details and techniques in the process.
- Then we'll bring the recording back into the classroom and edit it to get that “perfect take”.
- As the last and most complicated step, we'll build up our basic acoustic recording and develop it into a fully produced song.
