PERFORMANCE IN UKRAINIAN WITH ROMANIAN SUBTITLES

 

"Mariupol Drama" is an authentic confession from the actors who were inside the Drama Theater in Mariupol, Donetsk—a building that served as a shelter for over a thousand civilians during the Russian bombings on March 16, 2022.  

 

The word "Дiти" ("Children") - written in the square in front of the theater, was meant as a desperate plea to the attacking forces, signaling that the building was a civilian shelter for children and not a military target - became a symbol of a war crime.
