Any admirer of jazz music, but especially a performer, dreams of attending a concert featuring the best musicians in this genre. When it comes to Denis, not only is he one of the most prominent European saxophonists, who performs both traditional and more avant-garde jazz, but he also frequently performed with Randy Brecker, Aaron Parks, and Tim Hagans. His album “Variations” received 4 stars from the renowned newspaper “Downbeat” in 2019.
Mark Oselski is a pianist, composer, and music producer from Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. He began playing jazz while still in high school, and at 19, he recorded his first album, "Rancho Moldova." Mark has been involved in multiple musical projects, the most notable being "Alex Calancea Band," "Dan Balan," "Zdob si Zdub," "Wallmark," and "Not an Idol." As a jazz performer, he has participated in several jazz festivals such as "Sibiu Jazz Festival," "Braila Jazz Festival," "Jazz'n'Chisinau," and "Ethno Jazz Festival Chisinau." In 2020, he released his third album, "Places," and in 2022, he released the album "Sunday Jazz" with Deniss Pashkevich and Sebastian Studnitki. He also performed two grandiose concerts at the "Nicolae Sulac" National Palace as a composer and music producer. Mark focuses extensively on his own creations, so his music represents not only the characteristic improvisational aspect of the style but also the developed artistic composition, a hallmark of modern academic music. On January 15, Mark was named a Master of Art by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
Together with Mark Oselski, the two composed the album "Sunday Jazz" in 2022, which they presented in Chisinau at the Organ Hall with a fantastic sold-out concert.
On March 23, in the hall of the Palace of the Republic, Deniss, Mark, Nikita, and Alex aim to perform jazz standards and well-known music pieces in their own unique way.
