Teatrul M.A.D.E., in partnership with the A. P. Chekhov Russian State Drama Theatre, presents LIBERĂ.

A story of a woman, her dreams, her inner strength and her right to be herself.

Inspired by the real testimonies of 15 women, the performance speaks about violence and discrimination, about stereotypes and the invisible boundaries that society sometimes draws around a woman.
But it is not only a story about pain. It is about the courage to resist, to make your own choices and to find within yourself the strength to dream and to be free.

M.A.D.E. is a theatre where the actor’s body speaks.

Here, emotions and stories come to life without words, through movement, dance, gesture, body expression and music.
That is why our performance knows no language barriers. Its stage language reaches everyone in the audience, whatever language they speak.

LIBERĂ is a performance about the right to live without fear, to dream without limits and to be yourself.
Because freedom begins the moment you decide that your life belongs to you.

The performance was created in collaboration with UN Women Moldova, with the financial support of Sweden.

The performance contains short fragments of text and voice in Romanian.
