It all starts as an ordinary job interview. Four people have come to compete for the same position at a prestigious company - a situation familiar to anyone who has ever been through one. But very quickly, the office turns into a real “meat grinder.”
Instead of a conventional interview, a series of absurd, humiliating, and frightening tasks follows. The door is not locked; anyone can leave at any moment. Yet no one leaves. And while the characters try to decipher the puzzles, you watch them through a transparent wall - just a few metres away.
Critics often say that Jordi Galceran’s play The Grönholm Method is about an inhumane system, a machine that crushes personalities. But watching someone being broken isn’t the intriguing part. What is truly fascinating is how a human being tries to resist this mechanism.
Why do we try so desperately to appear to be someone we are not? And where is that fine line beyond which the role we play becomes our true face?
