An evening dedicated to Moldova’s white gem — the Viorica grape, celebrated for its aromatic, fresh, and expressive character.
About the Viorica grape:
The Viorica variety was developed in Moldova in 1969 by researchers at the Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking in Chișinău, through the crossing of Seibel and Aleatico. Although officially recognized in 1977, it gained true popularity in recent years, as interest in native Moldovan grapes grew.
Exclusively Moldovan: Viorica is a 100% Moldovan grape variety, cultivated only within the borders of the Republic of Moldova, and the wine made from it is produced nowhere else in the world. It’s a national treasure — a rare, expressive, and authentic white wine.
Expect floral aromas, hints of basil, acacia, citrus, and spices — a captivating and modern taste profile.
