We invite you to a special evening dedicated to Moldovan rosé wines, guided by Vadim Brînzeanu, the head sommelier of Wine Republic.

About rosé wine
Few people know that rosé is actually one of the earliest wine styles in history. In ancient times, most wines were light pink due to limited maceration techniques. Rosé was seen as a noble drink, enjoyed by kings and aristocrats from the Mediterranean to the courts of Europe. Today, it represents a perfect balance of freshness and flavor — ideal for summer evenings.

You’ll taste 6 different rosé wines from 6 Moldovan winemakers:

1. Crama Vulpe – Cabernet Sauvignon, dry rosé, 2024

2. ATU Winery – Codrinschii, dry rosé, 2023, IGP Codru

3. Poiana Winery – Busuioacă de Bohotin, 2024 – floral and expressive

4. Crama Neamțu – Rară Neagră & Cabernet Sauvignon, dry rosé, 2024

5. Mihai Sava – Merlot, semi-dry rosé, 2023

6. Castel Mimi – Rosé de Bulboaca, semi-dry rosé, 2024

The tasting will be led by Vadim Brînzeanu, our head sommelier, known for his warm, accessible style and deep knowledge of local wines. He will guide you through each wine’s story, vinification method, and character — helping you find your personal favorite.
